LASER CUTTING        CNC MACHINING       General Engineering       General Fabrication       Spray Painting       Engineering Design

Whether you require small quantities of parts to be cut for one off projects or large quantities for high volume production requirements, Laser cutting the parts will save you time and money.

  • Nesting software to accurately place the components on the sheet and maximise sheet usage.

  • High accuracy and repeatability of cut parts.

  • High speed piercing, cutting and traversing.

  • No burrs to clean after cutting.

  • No distortion of parts due to heat.

5Kw Bristow Laser

  • 5Kw PRC laser unit.

  • 3000mm x 1500mm bed with change over table.

  • Ability to cut mild and hi-tensile steels, aluminium, stainless steel and plastics.

CNC turning

Whether you are prototyping or require high volumes of machined components, the speed, precision and repeatability of a CNC lathe for simple or complex parts is essential to ensuring you are able to keep your production efficiency high.

Apollo operates 3 x CNC lathes catering from the smallest diameter bar stock up to 450mm and lengths up 600mm. Each machine has an 8 tool turret with live tooling available providing distinct production advantages by integrating turning and milling functions in one machine – less set ups, less handling of parts from beginning to completion.

CNC Milling

CNC Machining Centre - In order to achieve the highest levels of productivity, Apollo utilize a 60 turret Hyundai horizontal machining centre with pallet changer. This equipment is designed for high volume production of complex components with the utmost accuracy and repeatability.

CNC Milling Machine - This machine is one of the largest in regional NSW. With bed travel of 2000mm x 1000mm and an extremely rigid construction in both the bed and head it is designed for machining large components in only one set up.

CNC Bending

In order to provide the full suite of services to cater for the high volume manufacture of sheet metal components, Apollo utilise an Adira CNC press brake, cable of folding up 3000mm of 6mm M/S plate into a 90 degree bend. With automatic back stop and a convenient folding table that moves with the plate as it folds the Adira CNC press brake provides high level accuracy and repeatability.

While we utilise the latest CNC technology for our machining operations, we also have a wide range of general machining equipment which we utilise on a daily basis. Manual lathes and milling machines, gear hobbing machine, draw broach machine, surface grinder, pneumatic tapping arm and more.

For over 25 years, Apollo has provided fabrication services for a variety of industries. Specialising in the manufacture of parts washing equipment, Apollo has the capability to fabricate simple componentry out of light gauge materials through to heavy duty assemblies used in the harshest industries.

With one of the largest Spray and Bake booths in the region, we can comfortably accommodate an 8 x 4 Cab chassis in the spray booth and have over 4 Metres of clearance height.

All major sub-assemblies and assemblies are designed using Autodesk Inventor 3D engineering design software. We have the capabilities to assist with your design using Inventor or we can view your designs using conversion tools for other modelling software such as solid works.
